Amelia and Roy Randolph fell into the flower business. Roy is a commercial realtor in the Bridgeport area and heard of a commercial building coming onto the market in town. He went to view the property and discovered a flower business had been in operation there since 1985. When he decided to purchase the property, he didn’t necessarily have plans to stay in the flower business until existing employees petitioned him to consider keeping it going. The businesses’ customers also hoped Roy, and his wife Amelia, would
keep the business going. The couple seized the opportunity to continue providing a valuable service to the region’s community of florists, and keep employed a few very special, very knowledgeable, long timers.
The way Roy puts it, they’re just good people, doing good things, and making the world a more beautiful place one flower at a time.
